As we near the end of the calendar year, the biking world is casting it’s gaze forward to 2023; new bike models, new tech and updated components!
Here at The Cycle Hub, we want to give you a little sneak preview of what to look forward to on a more personal level in terms of shop developments, new brands, bike updates and social events coming over the next 12 months!
The Cycle Hub: New Name, New Logo, Same Passion!
You’ll have no doubt noticed by now that we’ve made a little update to our brand and image!
For a while now we’ve felt that we needed a brand image and logo that better encapsulates what it is we’re trying to do as a both a bike shop and a HUB for our local cycling community.
You’ll see our new logo and identity, The Cycle Hub, appearing across the board on our website, marketing material, merchandise and socials!
On that same subject, keep an eye out for our upcoming shop jerseys in conjunction with Pactimo, as well as hoodies, mugs and other merch! As with everything we do, we’ve kept quality at the forefront of minds, so all of our branded clothing will be comfortable, functional and durable! We’re going to be expanding this range as we go, so be sure to let us know what items you’d like to see with our shiny new logo appearing on!
Proudly Welcoming Marin and Orro Bikes To Our Brand Portfolio!
From day one we knew that we only wanted to stock and sell bikes that we ourselves would be excited to own, ride and represent. We’ve spent the past few months doing our research, and it didn’t take long to settle on a couple of brands that we feel perfectly compliment our shop offering and passion for quality bicycles!
Marin’s selection of performance mountain bikes and versatile gravel and hybrid bicycles boast incredible value for money in a broad variety of spec options and color ways!
Orro will be stepping in alongside BMC as our second road bike brand of choice, providing incredible spec options for the price on both their road and gravel offerings with frame finishes that are truly impressive!
We’re incredibly excited to be working with both of these brands going forward and will have their own brand spotlight posts coming out in due course to properly dig into their product catalogue, bike highlights and much more!
New & Updated Bikes From Our Existing Brands!
Of course a new year comes with new models for Mondraker, Niner and BMC! Whilst BMC and staying very much similar in build to the 2022 range, there will be a host of updated color ways available. On a more shop-related note, for 2023 we’re going to be stocking a fuller range of BMC road bikes, including their much requested 01 models featuring full cockpit integration! Get ready to drool over some serious eye candy next time you’re in store…
Meanwhile Mondraker and Niner have whole new bike releases coming up for the new model year!!! Niner have recently unveiled their fully updated and redesigned RKT 9 Downcountry/XC speed machine! With geometry and spec dialed directly towards pure speed, we’re excited to see and hear more about this much awaited update to the Niner portfolio!
Mondraker on the other hand…..well, we can’t tell you just yet. It’s all rather hush hush until the embargo period is over however we can assure you that there are some seriously exciting things in the pipeline! Rest assured that the minute that embargo period expires, we’ll be shouting about the spanish brand’s new developments on all of our platforms and we’ve got a pretty good feeling you’ll want to listen!
Social Rides and Demo Days… For Days!
Since day one we’ve been wanting to be not only Chester’s best local bike shop, but also a focal point for the local riding community.
We’ve now started up our Saturday Social Group Rides (join our Facebook group for weekly ride details!), had our first full BMC demo day and have a rotating selection of Mondraker Demo bikes available to demo upon request!
As we head into 2023 we’ll be looking to book in more full demo days here at the shop with our brands, organize more group rides across multiple disciplines and continue to support our local cycling community!
