Soft bags do have a few advantages over bike boxes. They are generally lighter, which is important as airlines usually have rigorously enforced weight limits. The bag (including wheel bags) weighs in at 6.2kg, which leaves plenty of allowance for not only your bike but other kit too.
The main compartment measures a spacious 1280 x 750 x 200mm.
